Terms of Use

Effective April 12, 2026. These terms govern access to SpawnWork and all related services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SpawnWork (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

“Customer” refers to an individual or entity who is seeking home improvement, maintenance, repair, or other services. A Customer may be someone who directly submits their information on the Platform, or an individual whose public request for services has been identified and aggregated by SpawnWork from open internet sources.

“Lead Request” or “Lead” refers to the information and data regarding a Customer's request for Services. Lead Requests may be generated organically by Users on our Platform or collected, aggregated, and curated by SpawnWork from publicly accessible, open sources on the internet.

“Service Professional” or “Pro” refers to any individual or business that uses the Platform to receive Lead Requests and connect with Customers.

“Credits” refer to the unit of currency used on the Platform. 1 credit = 1 Lead Request.

3. Description of Services

3.1. SpawnWork provides a platform that connects Service Professionals with Customers who are actively seeking services. The Platform includes lead request discovery, delivery, and management tools.

3.2. For Customers, SpawnWork provides a free service to post their needs and get matched with local professionals.

3.3. For Service Professionals, SpawnWork provides a credit-based system to receive and act on Lead Requests.

3.4. Sourcing of Lead Requests. SpawnWork provides a proprietary lead-generation service that identifies and aggregates requests for professional services. You acknowledge and agree that Lead Requests provided through the Platform may originate from Customers submitting information directly to SpawnWork, OR they may be aggregated by SpawnWork from open, publicly accessible sources on the internet (such as public forums, social media groups, or public directories).

4. Accounts and Billing

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Paid access begins after a successful checkout via Stripe. Credits are purchased in packs and never expire.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. SpawnWork does not store your payment card information.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to submit false or misleading requests.

6. Provisions for Service Professionals

6.1. Service Professionals must provide accurate business information including trade, service area, and contact details.

6.2. Service Professionals are solely responsible for the quality of work performed and for maintaining all required licenses and insurance.

6.3. Purchasing and Using Lead Requests. By receiving or purchasing a Lead Request, you understand and agree to the following:

  • Origin of Data: You acknowledge that certain Lead Requests are curated from public internet sources. SpawnWork acts merely as an aggregator and search tool for these public requests.
  • No Guarantee of Intent or Exclusivity: SpawnWork does not guarantee the accuracy, current availability, or intent of the Customer associated with any Lead Request. The Customer may not be aware that their public request has been indexed by SpawnWork.
  • Compliance with Contact Laws: You are strictly acting on your own behalf when contacting a Customer from a Lead Request. You represent and warrant that your outreach (whether via phone, text, email, or direct message on third-party platforms) will comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and the CAN-SPAM Act.
  • No Refunds: Because SpawnWork cannot control the responsiveness of a Customer or the outcome of a Lead Request sourced from the open internet, all lead purchases are final and non-refundable.

7. Availability

Service availability may depend on third-party providers, infrastructure, and automation systems. SpawnWork does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Delays or outages may affect Lead Request delivery.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by SpawnWork and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPAWNWORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • (A) LOSS OF REVENUE, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES;
  • (B) ANY INTERACTIONS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND SERVICE PROFESSIONALS;
  • (C) THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF ANY SERVICES PROVIDED BY SERVICE PROFESSIONALS;
  • (D) SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS OR DATA LOSS;
  • (E) THE ACCURACY, LEGALITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF ANY LEAD REQUEST CURATED FROM THIRD-PARTY OR OPEN INTERNET SOURCES, OR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM A SERVICE PROFESSIONAL'S UNSOLICITED CONTACT WITH A CUSTOMER IDENTIFIED THROUGH SUCH A LEAD REQUEST.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Modifications

SpawnWork reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
